On Sunday, October 29, 2023, the Assisting Courses Department at the College of Science and Human Studies in Jubail activated the Arab Chemistry Week for the year 2023. This was done under the supervision of the Chemistry Laboratory team, Dr. Sheikha Al-Kharasani and Ms. Modi Al-Subaie and Ms. Badriya Al-Rashidi, in the presence of department heads and faculty members, and with the participation of female college students. Many useful and interesting chemical experiments were conducted and the audience’s questions were answered. In addition, several brochures to awareness of the vitality and importance of chemistry in our lives were distributed to the audience.
More distributions were carried out in the First Primary School and the First Middle School in Jubail as a community contribution which contained scientific brochures about chemical concepts in our lives and other gifts that attracted students to the importance a of chemistry.
